We have found that the majority of people who come to us with energy issues, normally do not intake enough vegetables.   Vegetables are Carbs, the carbs you need to have energy and function properly.  Not enough can really drag you down.    The RDA is 25g of Fiber a day and you want that to come from mostly vegetables and low sugar fruits.

Look at the time of day you feel most tired and see if you had at least 8g of fiber from vegetables at the meal prior.   To get an idea of how much veggies should be on your plate, check our our Meal Ideas page.

What veggies you eat makes an impact too.  Many veggies are starchy and can actually make you tired too, so stick to the green, fibrous veggies.
