Sometimes I hear "please help motivate me" or "I can't seem to get motivated" or "I'm just not motivated." Being overweight or unhealthy is a symptom of your problem. The real problem is that you need an internal change of the mind, and not just a change of the body. Motivation is not given to you. Motivation is earned over time, by choosing to do the right thing for rewards that you won't even see for weeks or even months, because get this: You can make all the right choices you want today, you can work your butt off at the gym today and after today, you won't have suddenly reached your goal. And speaking of goals, if living the fat loss lifestyle is your desire, you really will never have an actual goal to reach because it is something you do for the rest of your life.
In the process you will learn things about yourself that you never knew such as how much power you really hold to do things you never thought you could do. You will slowly mend the bruises and scars on your heart and soul that you have been ignoring for years. You will earn back SELF respect. You may cry along the way, and at times, it will take blood, sweat, and tears.
Your body will scream and beg you to stop, and so will your mind. Both your body and mind are RESISTANT to change, even though that change is for the better. You have to believe in yourself, you have to believe that things can change because they will. One day, and trust me when i say that this is when tears will come, you will fit into jeans you never have or you will see yourself in pictures from the past, or you will catch yourself in a mirror that you typically don't look in, and you will realize how far you've come. THAT moment is when you feel motivated. THAT moment is the moment motivation is earned. Only you can do that for yourself.
